Terms of Service

Effective Date: June 18, 2026 • Last Updated: October 25, 2026

Welcome to anuano.com ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using our website and document conversion tools (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1. Use at Your Own Risk

You expressly understand and agree that your use of the Services is entirely at your own risk. The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

2. Imperfection of the Automated System

Our conversion engine utilizes automated algorithms to transform various file formats into Markdown. You acknowledge and accept that:

  • The system is and will be imperfect. You cannot expect completely flawless or 100% accurate outputs.
  • Conversions may result in formatting differences, omitted tables, or unexpected formatting artifacts. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of the output before using it in production systems or LLM pipelines.

3. User Responsibility & Limitation of Liability

You are entirely responsible for the files you upload and the results of using our Services:

  • We are not responsible or liable in any way for any damages, losses, data loss, business interruptions, or legal consequences arising from your use of or inability to use our Services.
  • You represent and warrant that you own or have the legal authorization to upload and convert any documents submitted to our Services.

4. No Support for Free Services

anuano.com provides core document-to-markdown conversion tools to the community free of charge. Because these tools are freely accessible, we do not provide technical support, individual troubleshooting, or customer service for free use.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Upload malicious software, viruses, or code designed to disrupt our infrastructure or other users.
  • Process illegal, abusive, or infringing materials.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, overwhelm (DDoS), or disrupt server operations.

6. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
